BloodThirsty Vegans - Silence (2010)

when: Sunday, September 5th, 2010 from 1pm to 7pm

what: potluck + music + benefit for the Peace Education Fund

why: meet new friends, dance, enjoy the great outdoors, hear awesome music, play some music, volleyball,
games, share some food, network, volunteer, go for a boat ride, learn cool stuff

cost: Bring some food.  

And please bring a monetary contribution to donate to the Peace Education Fund (www.fundpeace.org)
or Pakistan flood relief if you can.


For 30 years June Licence and Roger Cook, two of the most effective activists Western New York
has to offer, have hosted an annual celebration of life, love and labor on the Sunday before
Labor Day.  Make plans to join us this year for June & Roger's Labor Sunday Potluck Party #30.

What can you expect?

Music: the music will be out of this world.  On the front stage there will be live music
provided by Lara Buckley, BloodThirsty Vegans, Gruvology, the Latin Jazz Project & the 12/8 Path.
And if that's not enough world class music, there is a gathering of incredible accoustic
musicians in the garden every year, so bring an instrument and a song or two to share.

Activism: Find out who's doing what to make the world a better place and get involved.

Opportunity: Bring info about your favorite cause and pass it out.  Want to table at this event?
Cool.  Bring your own table.  Sign people up for your email list.  Network with people with similar
interests.

Fun & Fresh Air: There's a volleyball net in the back, you can bring other games, there
 are boats and a great view of the river across the way, everyone is bringing food so
 there's plenty to eat.

There's sure to be plenty of all ages fun all day long so mark your calendars or put it
in your phone now.

Driving directions: take the I-190 to Grand Island exit at exit 18B toward Beaver Island
State Park.  Merge onto the 324E (Grand Island Blvd). Turn right at Love Rd and follow
Love all the way to West River Road.  Turn left(south) at W River Rd and look for all
the parked cars.

I think it should be.  Especially since it's dithered to begin with.  Bigger dither dots would probably make it look even more intense. 

Alex, is this high quality enough for me to go get posters/fliers printed?
