You can get back to the Main Forum Page from anywhere on the forums by clicking the button that says "Forum Home" on the forum menu.  This is a screen shot of the Main Forum Page.

At the Main Forum Page you will see the BTV bunny next to every message board.  If the bunny is in color that means there are new posts in that message board that you haven't read yet.  If the bunny is in black & white that means there are no new posts.  You can click on the bunny to go to that message board.  If there are new posts for you there, there should be a button that says new next to the message titles.  If you click that new button the forum should take you directly to your first unread post in that forum thread.

Had a person ask where on the forum people are allowed to post messages.

Basically, anywhere the forum allows you to post a message is where you are allowed to post.  The forum will disallow posts where you're not supposed to post, and if a message is really off topic we may move it to a more appropriate sub, but mainly people should just feel free.  We're pretty easy going around here.

The BloodThirsty Vegans forum will allow you to edit your old posts.  If you just notice a minor error --typo or missing letter or whatever-- then click the edit icon in the lower right hand corner of your post.  If you need to make major edits to a post or an edit involving pictures or links or text formatting or whatever, click the link at the top of the post that says "Modify"

We have a message board called the scratchpad:
http://www.bloodthirstyvegans.com/forums/index.php?board=14.0

Posts in there don't count, but it's a place where you can practice forum features.  Practice using colors or links or create your own smiley army or just type some gibberish.  Nobody will mind.

To post a video to our forum, just go to YouTube and start watching the video you want to post.   To the right of the video there should be two boxes; one says "URL:" and one says "Embed:".  Select everything in the box that says URL.  Then copy and paste it into the forum and let the forum do the rest.

If for any reason you'd like to look at all of the most recent posts starting with the most recent, you can go to the forum index page (click on "FORUM HOME" to get there) and near the bottom of the page there are three links: Recent posts | Memberlist | More stats.  Click on the one that says recent posts and you can get a page with the full posts starting with the most recent.  This can be especially useful if you've been away for a while.
