Welcome to the thirteenth BloodThirsty Vegans newsletter. July 2010 Edition.
The BloodThirsty Vegans (BTVs) is a musical family that makes music (sweet, sweet music)
about peace, love and understanding to unite the human family, foster respect for
the interconnected web of life, and remind the tribes how liberating it was to
dance the dances of freedom.
Currently the BloodThirsty Vegans are My Rap Name is Alex,
Janna "MC Vendetta" Willoughby, Dave Harter, Ben Sachs,
Bryan "Brrrn" Lohr & Kaitlyn Marie Gardner
and sometimes Michael Delaney or Liz Bailey.
Contacting BloodThirsty Vegans directly is pretty simple.
We are all regular visitors to our facebook page.
We design and operate our own website at bloodthirstyvegans.com
that has message forums where you can
leave messages for us or other BTV friends and fans. We also have
myspace and twitter.

Yes. The BTV newsletter is WAY late this month. In the 1 year
that we've been doing this newsletter it has always come out
on or around the first of the month. This month has been really crazy
and there almost wasn't a BTV newsletter at all, but we have two
REALLY awesome shows coming up this weekend and we REALLY wanted
to tell you about them while there's still time.
1. On Saturday we will be celebrating Dave & Janna's 2 year
anniversary of being in the BTV with a huge dance party
out on the lawn of the Ol' Wondermoth housing co-op (see below
for more details)
2. On Sunday we will be part of College Street's huge outdoor
annual Block Party. (see below for more details)

June was full of fantastic BTV shows. It is shaping up to be a summer of
fun for the funnest band in the universe, and June got us off to a good start.
Dance Alive: June -
We started things off with the 3 year anniversary of the new Dance Alive!
We had guest appearances from the extended BTV family: Paul Zannoli and
Kilissa Cissoko and as always great food and great dancing by the Toddler
Army and their minions.
Gloria J. Parks Community Center Block Party - the day after Dance Alive was
spent making more music and collaborating with kids at the GJPCC Block Party.
There was awesome music from Gruvology, DJ Cutler, Erie Lackawanna Railroad,
Miraculous Rhythms of Sankofa and, of course, BloodThirsty Vegans. There
were clowns, jugglers, sidewalk chalk and graffiti expos, a huge bounce house
and best of all the kids made their own instruments and jammed on out with
Gruvology at the end. A party to remember for sure.
Buffalo infringement Festival fundraiser -
a couple weeks later we were back at it with one last fund raiser for
the Buffalo infringement Festival. In addition to BTV music there was
music by Gilded Masters of Acid House, Harold Black and The Entire Planet,
Chasing Static, I Was the Scarecrow, DJ Medison, Almost Clancey and Skitchy.
Now that all these funds have been raised, it's finally infringement time!
YES!
2010 Summer Homecoming Kick Off -
We Stole the Show: Gr& Phee and Rhyson Hall were back in Buffalo for a night
of Hip Hop Majesty. People With Teeth, G5-GI and DJ Mario Bee also
represented for Hip Hop after the BTVs left the stage. The night was hot.
And funky. Fo sho.

fond gratitude for the life of Kaitlyn's recently departed grandfather.
And, also, her recently departed hedgehog. Both of whom enriched her life
tremendously.
extreme gratitude to all of the people, past and present, who have contributed
to the Buffalo infringement Festival becoming such an awe inspiring and entertaining
opportunity for the people of Western New York to entertain one another without
a bunch of stupid corporate BS getting in the way.
huge gratitude to Sophia for being such an awesome supporter and
dancing at our shows and interacting with the TABAPOE
and, also, making Alex such a happy guy lately.
gratitude for the stage at Mikepalooza which is made out of magic. Mike &
Judy, you really know how to throw a party.
